Merry Christmas!

Can't believe Christmas is already over. Christmas was a little different for us this year. As we get older, I am realizing so do our kids. With older kids comes their responsibilities as well as our own. So Christmas morning we woke up and 4 of our children enjoyed opening their presents, Anika unfortunately had to work at 6:00 in the morning, and we all woke up at 5:40. So we opened some presents then and decided to do the rest of our Christmas with Anika when she got home at 2. It was a really nice day. We stayed home, most of us in our Jammie's all day, and just enjoyed being together and playing with our new presents. I am so grateful to have such a loving husband and kids. It is an emotional ride for me to realize Anika is so close to being an adult. I am not ready for those adventures. But I am willing to open them with open arms.

Christmas came so fast this year I haven't even sent out Christmas cards, I am hoping to send out New Year's cards... We will see. I hope you all were able to enjoy your friends and family this time of year. I am so grateful for all that I have in my life. Merry Christmas!
