Sundays

Sundays have become my favorite day at our house. With all of our kids getting older and are involved in so many diiferent activities during the week, we have devoted our Sundays to just relax and be together as a family. The majority of us stay in our jammies all day and watch movies, play games, and just be together. It is a nice way for me us to catch up with everyone on anything going on in their lives.
The kids have recently brought their registration forms for next year, and of course this was very emotional for me. We will have a Senior in high school, a Freshman in high school, and an Eight grader.. Not to mention 2 adorable 3rd graders. I have decided that schools should not have registartion so early in the year. For me to have the reality of how old my children are becoming.
So with the reality of Life happening everyday, I am so grateful for my family, for the love and support we get from each other. For the husband and dad who is very loving and supportive. For the older sisters who makes any younger sibling feel so important. And for the younger siblings to endure the stories, the drama and still love unconditionally. This is why I love sundays, this is what makes me get up in the morning. And this is why we need to take time for the little things, and enjoy the journey.
